Epoxy Anticorrosive Paint
Epoxy Anticorrosive Paint Epoxy anticorrosive paint is suitable for the coating and protection of cement walls, fiberglass, rubber, machinery, oil tanks, and other surfaces that have been primed with epoxy or anti-rust primers. It is mainly used in corrosion-resistant applications such as the internal and external surfaces of large chemical equipment and pipelines. It can also be applied to non-metallic surfaces, as well as electrical devices and instrumentation used in hot and humid tropical environments. Color customization is available; a physical color sample or an international color code must be provided.

There are many types of epoxy anticorrosive paints. Below are several of the most commonly used products:
Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer
This product is a three-component system composed of epoxy resin, polyamide resin, organic solvents, and zinc powder, supplied in a matched packaging set. The mixing ratio of base to hardener is 4:1. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, strong mechanical properties, good adhesion, electrical conductivity, and cathodic protection. It can be used as a pre-fabrication shop primer. When the dry film thickness is between 15–25 μm, welding can be performed without affecting weld quality. This product may also serve as an anti-rust primer. It is an outstanding epoxy-based anticorrosive coating, widely used on bridges, ships, offshore oil platforms, and port facilities.
Epoxy Mica Intermediate Paint
Epoxy mica intermediate paint (also referred to as base coat) uses grey micaceous iron oxide as pigment, epoxy resin as the binder, and polyamide resin as the curing agent. It is a two-component, cold-curing epoxy coating. Thanks to the excellent properties of micaceous iron oxide and epoxy resin, the cured film is tough, with excellent adhesion, flexibility, abrasion resistance, and sealing performance. It is typically used as a middle layer in high-performance anti-rust systems, over primers such as epoxy red oxide primer, epoxy zinc-rich primer, or inorganic zinc primer, providing enhanced protection for the entire coating system.
Zinc Chromate Epoxy Baking Anticorrosive Primer
This paint consists of two components: Component A is a pigment paste made from epoxy resin and pigments; Component B is a phenolic resin. The two components are supplied separately and mixed at a ratio of 7:1 (A:B). When used in combination with H52-80 Yellow Epoxy Primer or H52-32 Aluminum Epoxy Primer, this system offers excellent resistance to corrosive media such as gasoline and lubricating oil. It also provides outstanding resistance to salt spray, saltwater (natural seawater), and high humidity, along with good physical and mechanical properties. It is especially suitable for corrosion protection of light metal machinery and cast magnesium alloy components.
Colored Epoxy Anticorrosive Paint (Separate Packaging)
This product is formulated by grinding epoxy resin, pigments, and organic solvents, then adding ethylenediamine as a curing agent. It offers good adhesion, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength. It is suitable for use as an anticorrosive coating on various metals and light metals.

Application Instructions
1.The base paint and curing agent are packaged separately. Mix them according to the specified ratio before application.
2.All contaminants such as oil, moisture, and dust must be thoroughly removed from the surface to be coated. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
3.The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point. When the substrate temperature is below 5°C, the paint film will not cure properly, and application is therefore not recommended.
4.After thoroughly stirring Component A, add Component B in the specified ratio and mix well. Allow the mixture to stand for approximately 30 minutes for pre-reaction (maturation), then add an appropriate amount of thinner to adjust the paint to application viscosity.
5.Suitable for air spraying or brush application.
6.The mixed paint must be used within 6 hours at 25°C.
