Product Features

Fluorocarbon paint is characterized by its superior durability, exceptional weather resistance, anti-corrosion performance, and strong self-cleaning properties. Additional features include strong adhesion, high decorative quality, water and mildew resistance, as well as resistance to acids and alkalis.

The paint film also exhibits excellent physical properties such as fast drying, flexibility, scratch resistance, and washability. It is known for its high transparency, hardness, fullness, and non-yellowing characteristics.

Application Scope

Fluorocarbon paint is suitable for use as a long-lasting decorative and protective coating on various metal substrates, including aluminum curtain wall panels and aluminum profiles. It is also applicable to the durable protection of steel structure equipment.

Application Guidelines

1.Pre-treatment: Chromate conversion coating process.

2.Coating Systems

A. Solid Color Coating – 2 Sprays, 1 Bake Process

Primer: Dry film thickness 5–10 μm; flash-off time 10–15 minutes

Topcoat: Dry film thickness 20–30 μm; flash-off time 10–15 minutes, Baking conditions: (235 ± 5)°C for 15–20 minutes

B. Metallic Color Coating – 3 Sprays, 1 Bake Process

Primer: Dry film thickness 5–10 μm; flash-off time 10–15 minutes

Topcoat: Dry film thickness 20–30 μm; flash-off time 10–15 minutes

Clearcoat: Dry film thickness 10–15 μm; flash-off time 10–15 minutes, Baking conditions: (235 ± 5)°C for 15–20 minutes

In environments with air pollution or high exposure to strong acids and alkalis, aluminum pigments in fluorocarbon paint may oxidize. To ensure long-term protection of the coating, application of a clearcoat is required.

Storage

Fluorocarbon paint is a flammable material and should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, rain, and heat sources. Fire safety precautions must be observed. The shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture. If stored beyond one year, the product may still be used provided it passes quality inspection in accordance with applicable standards.
