Classification and Applications

While the overall performance is not as comprehensive as two-component systems, they offer simpler application procedures.

It offers excellent mechanical strength, resistance to oils, water, acids, and alkalis, and is broadly applied in industrial protection, wood furniture, and automotive coatings.

Flexible Application Conditions: Can be cured by baking or at low temperatures, allowing for extended construction seasons.

Disadvantages:

Complex Application Process: Requires precise mixing ratios and controlled application environments, making it relatively cumbersome to apply.

Environmental Concerns: Some polyurethane paints contain harmful substances such as free TDI, resulting in relatively poor environmental performance.
